Qeterochin Terms of Service

By signing up you agree to these terms.

FOR ALL USERS

  • •You must provide accurate information
  • •No fake reviews or fake bookings
  • •No copying or scraping our business listings
  • •We can suspend accounts that violate these rules
  • •Qeterochin is not responsible for service quality — that is between you and the business

FOR BUSINESS OWNERS

  • •Your services and prices must be accurate
  • •Do not toggle 'Open' if you are not available
  • •Subscription fees are non-refundable after 7 days
  • •We can remove listings that violate our standards

FOR AFFILIATES AND PARTNERS

  • •You may not build a competing Habesha business directory while earning commissions from us
  • •You may not take businesses away from Qeterochin to another platform
  • •Commission stops immediately if you breach these terms
  • •We require 30 days notice to end the partnership
  • •Breach of these terms may result in legal action

CARE AND HOUSEHOLD SERVICES

  • •Qeterochin is a directory only. We do not screen, background-check, employ, endorse or recommend any caregiver or household worker.
  • •All information shown is self-reported by the person listing and is not verified by us.
  • •You are responsible for your own checks before hiring anyone — ID, references, and a police check where available.
  • •Qeterochin is not an employer, agency or placement service. We take no responsibility for any agreement, payment, tax obligation, injury or loss between you and the worker.
  • •Childcare, elder care and domestic work may be regulated where you live. Complying with licensing and work-permit law is the responsibility of both parties.
  • •We give no badges, endorsements or featured ranking on care listings.
  • •You can report any listing with the Report button. We remove listings of concern without notice.
  • •In an emergency or child-protection matter, contact local authorities first — we are not an emergency service.
  • •Providers are independent. They are responsible for holding their own licences, registrations, insurance and tax obligations. They are not our employees or agents.
  • •Any agreement, price or payment is strictly between you and the provider. Qeterochin is not a party to that agreement.
  • •By using these services you accept the risk yourself (assumption of risk).
  • •To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the greater of the fees you paid Qeterochin in the preceding 12 months or CAD $100.
  • •You agree to indemnify and hold Qeterochin harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms or out of any hire you make through the platform.
  • •We may remove any listing or account at our sole discretion, without notice and without giving a reason.
  • •Where a child or vulnerable person is at risk, call emergency services first.
  • •Nothing on this platform is medical, legal, financial or childcare advice.
  • •All user-submitted content — profiles, reviews, photos — is unverified.

FOR EVERYONE

  • •We store your data securely (see Privacy Policy)
  • •We can update these terms with 30 days notice
  • •Disputes are governed by Alberta, Canada law

Care & Household Help

  • Qeterochin is a directory, not an agency. We do not employ, place or supervise anyone.
  • We verify nobody. We do not check identity, experience, licences or criminal records.
  • You are responsible for your own checks — references, interviews and documents.
  • Providers are independent and hold their own licences, insurance and tax obligations.
  • Any agreement, payment or contract is strictly between the two parties; Qeterochin is not a party to it.
  • By using the service you assume the risk.
  • Our liability is capped at the greater of the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months or CAD $100.
  • You indemnify Qeterochin against claims arising from your use of the service.
  • We may remove any listing at our discretion. Where a child or vulnerable person is at risk, contact emergency services first.
  • Nothing here is medical, legal, financial or childcare advice.
  • User-submitted content (profiles, reviews, photos) is unverified.
